Toma Verde Tomatillo

Toma Verde is one variety of tomatillo we carry. These green-colored, sweet tomatoes are best for salsa and other Spanish and southwestern dishes. Al Toma Verde plants are considered prolific and produce fruit with a husk on the outside. These plants take about 100 days to mature and need plenty of sun, as well as water. Like all tomatoes, Toma Verde should be spaced 24 to 36 inches apart in your garden.

Our tips for growing this type of tomato include:

Harvest: 60 day.
Exposure: Full sun. Plant after danger of frost.
Water Needs: Keep plants evenly moist.

Fertilizer: Fertilize at planting and again when plants start to bloom.
