Sage Varieties

All sage plants are perennials and, typically, need spring planting. Plants, depending on variety, can be 12to 36 inches tall with full sun to partial shade. Soil, on the other hand, can vary. While all plants needs moist and well-drained soil, the pH for various sage types ranges from 4 to 7. Additionally, sage is ideal for either a garden or container and, for the former, should be spaced 24 inches apart in your garden.
