Farmer Phil's Habenero Pepper

Habenero Pepper

As one of the smallest sized but spiciest peppers, Habenero enjoys hotter temperatures. Each Habenero pepper, when reaching maturity, ends up being thin skinned and one to two inches long and, taste-wise, is 100 times hotter than a Jalapeno. If you’re considering growing Habenero plants in your garden, they need to be spaced 18 inches apart and in rows 30 inches apart in warm to hot temperatures with plenty of water.

Our suggestions for growing Habenero peppers include:

Harvest: 85 days.
Exposure: Full sun. Protect from intense afternoon sun.
Water Needs: Keep evenly moist.
Fertilizer: Fertilize when planting and when plants begin to bloom.
